All risk scores, country assessments, city-level overlays, and intelligence summaries produced by Aegis Intercept are derived exclusively from publicly available open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources. These sources include, but are not limited to:

• Publicly available government publications, reports, and travel advisories
• International organization datasets (UN, World Bank, WHO, OECD, etc.)
• Publicly accessible academic and research publications
• Licensed commercial data feeds covering news, incidents, and geopolitical events
• Publicly available legal, regulatory, and sanctions databases
• Open geospatial and environmental datasets

Aegis Intercept does not have access to classified government intelligence, law enforcement databases, or proprietary corporate intelligence not otherwise publicly available. Our scoring is entirely based on open-source data and algorithmic processing of that data.

Risk scores are the output of automated algorithmic processes applied to aggregated OSINT data. By design and necessity, they have material limitations:

• Latency — Scores are updated on a periodic basis (not continuously). A score displayed at any given moment may not reflect events that have occurred since the last data refresh. The lag between a real-world event and a score update can range from hours to days depending on the data source and refresh cadence.
• Source reliability — Our scores are only as reliable as the underlying public sources. Those sources may themselves be incomplete, biased, delayed, or inaccurate.
• Geographic granularity — Country-level or city-level scores necessarily aggregate conditions across diverse sub-regions. Scores may not capture highly localized risks within a given area.
• Algorithmic limitations — Weighting models and composite indices reflect analytical judgments made at the time of their design. They may not capture all relevant risk factors or may weight factors in ways that do not apply to your specific situation.
• Rapidly evolving situations — In fast-moving crises (active conflict, natural disasters, sudden political upheaval), real-time conditions may diverge significantly from displayed scores. Always consult official government sources during rapidly evolving situations.
• Translation and transliteration — Some source data may be translated or transliterated from other languages. Translation errors may affect accuracy.

Specifically, Aegis Intercept:

• Is NOT a licensed security consultancy or certified risk management firm. Our scores do not constitute a professional security assessment.
• Is NOT a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on the Platform is legal advice.
• Is NOT a financial advisor, investment advisor, or registered broker. Nothing on the Platform is financial or investment advice.
• Is NOT an intelligence agency or government authority. Our data is not classified or verified intelligence.
• Is NOT an OFAC compliance solution. Sanctions screening features are informational aids only and do not satisfy legal compliance obligations. See Section 6.
• Is NOT a substitute for duty-of-care programs supported by qualified security professionals, legal counsel, or government travel advisory systems.

For decisions affecting personal safety, legal compliance, or material financial commitments, Platform output should be one informational input among many. We strongly recommend also consulting:

• Government travel advisories — U.S. State Department (travel.state.gov), UK FCDO (gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice), and equivalent authorities for your home country.
• Licensed security consultants — For high-risk environments, on-the-ground assessments, or executive protection, engage a licensed corporate security firm.
• Legal counsel — For sanctions compliance, export controls, regulatory determinations, or any matter with legal consequences, consult qualified attorneys.
• Licensed due diligence providers — For third-party due diligence with legal or regulatory significance, use accredited firms operating under applicable professional standards.
• Financial advisors — For investment or financial decisions, consult registered investment advisors.

Where AI-generated summaries are available, they are produced by large language model APIs (currently Anthropic Claude) and are subject to additional limitations beyond those described above for OSINT-derived scores:

• AI-generated text may contain factual errors, outdated information, or "hallucinations" (plausible-sounding but incorrect statements).
• AI summaries are generated from the context provided to the model at the time of the query and may not reflect the most current conditions.
• AI summaries have not been reviewed, edited, or verified by human intelligence analysts, subject matter experts, or legal reviewers.
• AI summaries are subject to the limitations of the underlying language model, including potential biases present in the model's training data.
• All AI-generated content is subject to the same "informational only" disclaimer applicable to all Platform output.

You must independently verify any specific factual claims appearing in AI-generated summaries before relying on them for any purpose.

To the extent the Platform includes data derived from sanctions lists (including OFAC SDN lists, EU consolidated sanctions, UN sanctions, and equivalent databases):

• Sanctions list data is refreshed periodically. It may not reflect the most current additions, removals, or modifications to any sanctions list at the time of your query.
• A match against or absence from a sanctions list in Platform output is NOT a legal determination of sanctions status and does NOT satisfy any legal compliance screening obligation.
• Sanctions screening is highly technical and jurisdiction-specific. Whether a particular entity or transaction is subject to sanctions restrictions requires legal analysis by qualified counsel.
• Platform sanctions features are informational aids to assist in identifying entities for further review — they are not a complete compliance solution.
• OFAC and equivalent authorities are the authoritative sources for sanctions list data. Always verify against official sources.

Reliance on Platform sanctions data as your sole compliance check does not constitute a reasonable compliance program under applicable law. Consult legal counsel for all sanctions compliance determinations.

The public demo environment at demo.aegisintercept.com is provided for product evaluation purposes. All scores, overlays, and data displayed in the demo environment are illustrative examples only. They:

• Do not represent current risk conditions for any location
• Are not updated in real time and may reflect synthetic or historical data
• Are not suitable for any operational, compliance, or decision-making purpose
• Are provided solely to illustrate Platform interface and capabilities

Do not use demo environment data for any purpose beyond product evaluation.
